* 8/26/09 7:00pm Day 53: It’s Actually Happening! *

Wowwwwww!! I’m actually leaving! It’s such a weird feeling, I can’t believe it. My suitcases are almost completely packed and I’m saying goodbye to everyone…

Today we went to class in the morning. Our LAST DAY of class! Tomorrow we have a test, and the day after is just a debriefing. I found out that I’m the only one in my class that actually needs to pass the test because I’m the only one taking it to transfer the credit back to my school. Most of the people in my class are working in China, so they don’t even need to take the test. There is one other boy who is a student like me, but he is just taking the class for fun and not for credit, so he doesn’t really care how well he does on the test. Man! I feel like such a loser, because I’m the only one that actually has to take the test seriously. Hopefully I’m prepared for it. I’ve been studying and keeping up with the lessons until now, so I hope that it pays off. It seems like most of the test is going to be directly from the textbook, which shouldn’t be too hard. Anyways, whatever the case, I’m not too stressed about it, but I’m not too sure if that’s a good or bad thing. I probably should study for it more, but I don’t want to because I figure that the amount I’ve prepared for it already is sufficient to pass. And that’s all I need, because transfer credits don’t factor into my GPA. Plus, I want to make the most of my last few days here, and that is definitely not going to be by studying.

Tomorrow is my last day here! It’s going to be busy busy busy, of course. Our test ends at 10:30am, so we’re going to hang out with all the people from our class for a little while and then eat lunch with them. After that, we’re going to go back to the fabric market to pick up our dresses that we had made…I hope they all fit! We’re also supposed to meet with Raintree one more time, but we don’t know when yet because she hasn’t told us what time she’s free. We’re also going to go to Wanda Plaza to pick up last minute gifts and snacks. And then, we’re eating dinner with the Wus at 6pm. Omgoodness! I can’t it’s really happening! In less than 48 hours I’ll be on the plane going home. Ridiculous!
